Presentation of a major philosophical, literary or artistic movement through a personal selection of authors and artists, across genres, forms and disciplines. This approach highlights the dynamic dimension of these “movements”, which developed and fostered new sensibilities across their historical developments. The cultural resonances of these movements ensure a wide audience appeal, while the Instructor’s personal selection of authors for a close study guarantees an originality of interpretation of these often-discussed topics.
