The Crash Courses expand the mandate of the IST as developed in the Term Courses, but this time condensed over a shorter programme, divided into two to four sessions, for a total of 6 hours of interactive textual study on a curated selection from one or two great texts. The Courses are designed to at once facilitate a first-time introduction to the author and his or her textual universe, and to provide a line of interpretation fresh and original for the participants already accustomed with those works.
